The Dark Hour Haunted House opened in Plano, Texas, in October 2013. The haunted house features 30,000 square feet of Hollywood-style sets, a sound system that rivals modern concert halls, and eye-catching special effects. And all of this was built in just seven weeks! Quite impressive for a new haunted house! In this review, we’ll look at some of the experience’s best aspects. More can be found here.

The Dark Hour has a special show for Halloween, but during the Winter season, the haunted house transforms into a twisted Winter Wonderland. It requires great care and planning to create this new look and to incorporate holiday colors. The exterior scenes are adorned with snow and strategically placed Christmas trees. One of the giant puppets is transformed into a bumble! The atmosphere at this haunted house in Plano is truly terrifying!
